There has been rumor lately that Federal is reintroducing the 125gr. non+P Nyclad in .38Spl., probably at SHOT.
I just checked their website and its now on there, so its true.

Since the listed usage is for personal defense, I'm assuming that this cartridge is geared towards J-frames. The stated muzzle velocity is 830 fps but, doesn't give the test barrel length. I'll be curious to see how it stacks up against the Gold Dot 135-gr +P. If it's very close to the Gold Dot without being as much of a "fire breather" (and doesn't cost a king's ransom per box...), it could be a winner.
