This is a woman that said F you at a Iranian government function.
A week or so ago a newlywed couple were sentenced to over 10 years in prison for pasting a video showing them dancing without the wife wearing a hijab. Other women have been sentenced to death or long prison terms.
Just imagine if a million gun owners shoed up in DC after the 120 days were up, and every single person there had a braced pistol.
It is time for me to leave my fantasy world, for it will never happen.

Speaking of that, I was thinking same as I listened to an interview with a woman in Iran who was arrested for not wearing the head scarf and marveled at her courage. I like think I'd have such courage in the face of such a regime with no means to defend myself, but I can't claim it as a fact. It's easy to saber rattle on the 'net. Most 'Muricans truly do not understand and value what they have in this nation.

Wasnt there already a gun rally a few years back about something?
Then it went nowhere because the court decided to do it anyway?

I think "the right to keep and bear a functional pair of testicles" was the unstated presumption of the 2nd Amendment.

The FBI/DOJ would spend the next 10 years rounding every single one of them up. Just look at what they did to the J6 mob. That was an abject lesson that some animals are less equal than others.
If such a march were to happen, they might as well do the deed and get it over with. :(

Most people like to think that, but there is no knowing until the moment of truth forces you to choose.

If I'm not mistaken, there was also a public meeting in the capitol building in which there was suppose to be a question and answer session after the spewing of rhetoric from the governors mouth. When it came to that time, a bunch of state troopers walked out and told the crowd they had 15 seconds to disperse or get arrested. No questions were verbally answered of course, but that gave an answer in itself....

Tennessee's draconian carry law before the 1990s.
Prior to 1989, Tennessee was a limited “open carry” state. Tennessee’s open carry law was limited to “army or navy” pistols but only if such pistols were carried openly in the hand. The statute did not allow citizens to holster the weapons or to carry these types of pistols concealed. A person would have to become a special deputy or receive a special police commission in order carry a handgun that did not fit the “army or navy” designation. Shall Issue then replaced May Issue. Permitless carry has now replaced Shall Issue. There's more pro-gun carry legislation in the works. Lawless behavior by gun owners hasn't been required.

If I knew I were gonna be sentenced to death, I'd say at least that.
If I knew the difference between a 5,000 fine and doing 10 years was keep your mouth shut and pay the fine, then I'm going to pay the fine.
This is so apples to rabbits you can't compare the two.
