I once took a girl friend snorkling for the first time and one of my favorite lobster spots usually had a 4 foot nurse shark doing his best to clean it out. She was on the surface (not very deep) and I went down to tickle some lobsters into my bug bag and I grabbed the shark by it's tail and drug him out of the honeycomb coral he was hunting under.

Even underwater I heard her scream. She didn't know some sharks are pretty harmless.
