The US Air Force unveiled a new color scheme for the new Air Force One jets under construction on Friday, doing away with the darker red, white, and blue chosen by former President Donald Trump and opting for a modernized version of the classic design of the president’s aircraft.

Thank god!

Few people noticed but trumps version of Air Force one was nothing more than the paint scheme of his 757 flipped upside down...

Didn't this get announced last year? The darker colors cause too much heat or something? Would cost a bunch extra to overcome the heat?

Is it just the release of the rendering that is new?

If heat absorption is the claim, wouldn't the all white upper surface be cooler?

Not a fan. Trump or no Trump never been a “fan” of the soft baby blue. Then again to second another poster, surprised it’s not a CCP scheme.
