An odd troubled man who was in some great movies and shows. The movie I always think of when his name comes up is Electra Glide In Blue. It's classic gritty 70s movie, and if you have not see than one, see it:

This is a tough one. One one hand he smoked his wife. On the other hand, she deserved it. Call it even.

If anything can be said for this guy, he grew up in the Hollywood system at a time where there was no accountability. I believe I was told that his family took all the " Littles Rascals" money.
So the money stopped coming in the same time he could no longer play kids roles.
He pulled himself out of that mess.

I always liked his acting but he was odd.
