M&P 45c holsters

There's an original gen 1 for sale locally that I'd like to grab but it looks like iwb holster options are fairly limited. Not being overly familiar with M&Ps outside of the shield models, will newer produced holsters, specifically those for the M&P 45 M2.0 compacts, work? Barrel length seems the same but just a longer grip and increased mag capacity in the newer production guns. Am I missing something or is that it? Wondering if this is something I should grab or am I pissing up a rope?

The M&P Compact is not the same as the Shield line, no matter what caliber it is.
