"The International Committee of the Red Cross did not dispute the documents when reached for comment.

'We provide information about ways to reduce risk and where to find lifesaving assistance in Mexico and Central America. It is essential to prevent the loss of lives and to promote a humanitarian approach. Addressing the needs of this vulnerable population is a shared responsibility, of the authorities in the countries of origin, transit and destination, and of the international community,' the spokesperson added."

Based on what I saw in Africa, I grew to hate the UN and Red Cross, I am not sure if any higher level of corruption is possible.

We are losing the fight for America, we are winning on important points due to Trumps appointment to the SCOTUS. But the marxist mark on toward victory, while Republicans are deaf, dumb and blind.

I washed my hands of the Red Cross when they announced that all donations after 9-11 would go into a general relief fund and not be used towards 9-11 disaster relief exclusively.

Wonder if they are setting up hospitality stations to sell them donated coffee and snacks along the trail? That got the red cross on the family shit list when my Grandpa experienced that in Europe back in the 40s.

That "vulnerable population" can go fvck itself (and their wittle chilrunz too). I don't want your begging/leeching/broke-dick asses here, I didn't ask you to come, I don't care about you. Fix your own Third World shithole, or....wait for it....do it the right way and come here LEGALLY!

Freakin' Rhodesia all over again, except you can't shoot the bastards this time around.

Indeed, I'd be a lot more excited for some of what Scotus has ruled lately, if I had any conviction that the opposition had the same respect for 'the law' when they don't agree with it, as people on the "R' side do.
Washington, Oregon, Biden's recent EO....all proof they are going to keep pushing regardless of anything, so.... the RC doing shit like this is not much further of a stretch. Even if the border was totally on lock, they'd be landing boats full of people on the beaches and just letting them off, a'la the UK.
Imagine if people knew the whole truth of what was going on...of how far "other interests" are already going to work against them, and have been for some time...
This sort of news will never matter as long as it keeps coming out in "manageable" dribs and drabs, because each revelation alone is not enough to truly tweak people off.

U.S. does not have operational control of the border.

"'About ten years ago, we used operational control as a measuring stick of our effectiveness along the southwest border. My new strategy is geared towards mission advantage,' Ortiz said.

When asked directly if the U.S. had operational control of the entire U.S.-Mexico border, Ortiz replied, 'No, sir.'"

Communists, every last one of them.

Don’t volunteer or donate to anything. They use your own money against you.

Here ya go, tell them what you think of them. ombudsman@redcross.org 1-888-309-9679

Thanks for the links.
In my 70 years I have learned volunteer work and donations are always best done at the local level. It is easier to monitor where it goes and how it is used.

I'll give them at least a nickle's credit for responding. Most don't. Needless to say I responded in kind calling them on their communist lies.

Dear XXXXX,

Thank you for contacting the American Red Cross. The International Committee of the Red Cross and the American Red Cross, as a part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, neither prevents nor encourages migration. We aim to help prevent and mitigate the humanitarian consequences that migration can bring – including separation and loss of family contacts, disappearances, serious medical issues and even death.

Our approach to migrants is strictly humanitarian. We provide information about ways to reduce risk and where to find lifesaving assistance in Mexico and Central America. It is essential to prevent the loss of lives and to promote a humanitarian approach. Addressing the needs of this vulnerable population is a shared responsibility, of the authorities in the countries of origin, transit and destination, and of the international community.

Every day around the world, people make the difficult decision to leave their homes and their countries in pursuit of a safer place to live and hope for a better future. Families migrate for different reasons, such as conflict, violence, natural disasters, or other reasons. The above statement appears on our website here: https://www.redcross.org/about-us/news-and-events/press-release/2023/statement-on-informational-safety-pamphlet-for-migrants.html
