Well, I did walk around the prop made for the movie yesterday while at work, it is pretty cool looking. No idea if there’s anything real being made though.

Well, I did walk around the prop made for the movie yesterday while at work, it is pretty cool looking. No idea if there’s anything real being made though.

The prop was real enough looking it had the Chinese worried lol.

Even up close it looks real enough at just a causal glance, but then you notice things like no control surfaces and the windscreens are basically plexiglass. Still, it’s neat to look at.

Those air ducts are WAY to big for high speed flight, right? And the overall size seems too small.

I’m just a manufacturing engineer but one thing that stood out to me that it seems like there’s not enough room for fuel to be practical. It’s tiny compared to the SR-71/A-12.
