Dr Campbell has some good vids. His only mistake in that vid is recommending 4k IU. The only way to dose D3 properly is via 25OHD level testing. Magnesium, K2, taking with food, etc. all seem to affect absorption. I had been taking 5000 iu for a year and my D level was still borderline low normal. Started taking it with food/fat, K2, and magnesium and now I'm high normal.

Mg deficiencies are even more common than D deficiencies, and D does not work without Mg:
