BOSTON – WBZ-TV I-Team sources say the FBI, along with other federal agents, entered the wrong hotel room as part of a training exercise.

Sources told WBZ chief investigative reporter Cheryl Fiandaca that mistakes were made as federal agents conducting a mock investigation in the middle of the night woke up an airline pilot who had no idea what was going on.

They handcuffed the man and interrogated him for nearly an hour before realizing their mistake, sources said.

It happened on the 15th floor of the Revere Hotel on Stuart Street.

Vic Hartman, a former 25-year veteran of the FBI, said the training exercise in public does not make sense to him.

Way to go feeebs!

At least you clowns didn’t call in the ATF and burn the hotel down on your way out.

An hour before they figured it out?

Sounds like an off-book operation that went sideways…

“Vic Hartman, a former 25-year veteran of the FBI, said the training exercise in public does not make sense to him.”

If you want to police state like the Cheka, you need to train like the Cheka.

Randomly terrorizing innocent people through incompetence is a feature for the police state, not a bug.

FromMyColdDeadHand

Hmmmm…. 45 minutes? And they used a shower? I know they say DOD, but this was an ‘FBI’ opp, right?

So, in 45 minutes I think that even an innocent person would eventually say the word “Lawyer”…

Did they read him his rights? Training op, so it was filmed for after-brief, right?

Not sure how much this is worth. I’d start at $5million, net to me. Pain and suffering- he can’t stay in hotel rooms anymore…

So some random dude who didn't do jack gets his door kicked in and gets treated to some WWE meets gangsta water park type hijinks. Why do I think this "real world training" didn't go awry at all. Seems to be exactly what the fleebs want to do in the real world, to everyone.

ETA: Dude should just consider himself lucky the FBI didn't just make some shit up and bury him in a supermax for life to keep him quiet.

The unit which was working with FBI was CAG. Just a different Delta from the Delta pilot. The Delta pilot, that was just delicious irony.

We make jokes about him being lucky he didn’t have his dog with him or they didn’t frame him to cover it up… but it’s coming. The police state gets worse from here.

As for CAG, it’s just a best guess because we know they sometimes work/train with the FBI HRT. From the CNN article linked above: “Members of the FBI and the US Army Special Operations Command…”

The shower part is definitely worth raising an eyebrow over. You guys really think they were waterboarding him in there? I dunno. Doubt you'll ever hear the details. Isn't this the same "crack" organization that pre-fed the lies and propaganda to the MSM on the Hunter Biden laptop and to this day have done nothing with the contents or the compromised usurper occupying 1600. Clearly they don't have time for any real law enforcement.

Yes, we don’t need to get into wild conspiracy theories about water boarding when there are more reasonable explanations.

They had to figure out how to best cover up the hit, and you don’t want the mistaken target listening in. Just go through with disappearing him even though it’s the wrong guy? Maybe plant kiddie porn on his laptop? Lucky for him “training mistake” is what they decided on.

Again just wild speculation based on 0.0 facts and my rampant distrust of federal law enforcement. I'm just responding to the posed hypothetical question.

Not just no, but F-No.

As a guy who travels for a living I will observe that my time resting in the hotel is pretty important. I imagine it’s the same for an airline pilot. Plus if something goes down at the hotel as stupid as this it means old boy isn’t getting his rest to safely operate a flight the next day and get home. Not sure how the airline would handle it, but my guess is poorly and probably results in loss of income and delays getting home.

There’s no fun and games here, just lots and lots of stupid. Everyone involved from the top down, should get shit canned.
