That's not something you see every day:

"A Russian tank used in the assault on Ukraine has mysteriously appeared at a truck stop in the US.

The T-90 tank is thought to have been captured last September by Ukraine’s 92nd Separate Mechanised Brigade, after being used in fighting in the Kharkiv region of north west Ukraine.

The combat vehicle was left on a low loader in the parking lot of a restaurant in the state of Louisiana.

Local reports suggest that after the truck towing the tank broke down, the vehicle was left at Peto’s Travel Center and Casino in Roanoke, Louisiana, next to US Interstate 10."

Must not be that big of a deal. The people that shipped it couldn't even be bothered to throw a tarp over it.

Probably headed to Fort Bliss for evaluation.

Yup. “Turns up” and “mysterious” translated into English from Clickbait mean “I saw this, but I don’t know anything, so I asked my waitress if she knew, but she doesn’t. Here’s a pic”

I don’t find this remotely surprising, and if I were writing an article about it, I’d just dispense with the mysterious bullshit. “I saw a repo’d Russian tank on a flat bed off the interstate between a major port and a place where armor exercises happen….I wonder what we will do with it; here’s a stock photo of how tanks are transported.”

Cool. Wasn't expecting the Ukrainian War surplus and parts kits to start hitting so soon, but I'll take an AK-12 and SCAR parts kit if anyone sees one. Couple Javelins might come in handy too.

As long as they carry ammo under the Turret and use an autoloader, they're pretty much a Roman Candle on Tracks.

Someone said Ft. Bliss I'm thinking more like Ft. Polk, it's much closer to that location where the truck/tank was left.

Wife- “Honey, why is there a charge on our credit card bill for a T-90 tank and shipping?”

Me- “First of all, lower your voice woman!”

Fort Polk is mostly a joint readiness training command. Fort Bliss is home to the 1st Armored division, they might like to get a look at it.

Maybe some Intel guys (if they haven't already) and some General Dynamics engineers.
