surprisingly accurate despite crude fixed sights and feeds great despite what people say about these , i can hit an 8x8 at 40 yards with maybe one wiff a clip with CCI mini mags

This is interesting. I didn't know that they made a 22LR version.

i am not sure if Stoeger acquired the copyright to the name Luger or if they had it all along , but after WW2 there were allot of vet bring back pistols , and the Luger was popular so they decided to produce this as a novelty firearm to lightly scratch that itch in the states

i think the early ones were aluminum and then they later went cheaper to cast metal , allot of people wil scoff and say they are jammomatics and there is some validity to that but its not the pistols fault , this was imported from Europe where .22 LR was slightly longer and a bit more powerful so when designing it was designed for Europes standard .22 LR not the weaker US LR , so if you use the hotter .22 ammo there are no issues , i run CCI mini mags and it failure to feeds i would say seldom , once in maybe 5 or 6 mags hardly a jammomatic but not a swiss watch , i have brand new Rossi for a barn rat gun that does that
