I wouldn't necessarily equate "cheapest" with "worst", although the two terms are often related. Anyone familiar with this brand?

Not always a fair correlation of cheapest equals worst. But in this case it probably is.

Those are a polymer lower and what looks like a polymer upper too?

It is also therefor by no means the ‘cheapest AR’ if we’re talking about standard mil-spec forged 7075 aluminum receivers .

I wouldn’t pay 380$ for one of those. Or any amount of money. I say that owning a 500$ PSA I’m perfectly happy with for 500$. Just nothing in me wants a polymer recovered AR.

Stickman posted this ZroDelta lower (https://www.peacegeek.net/product-p/z-0236.htm) in the Interesting Finds thread. I don't know if that was any kind of endorsement, but at least it's not plastic.

So you'd have to be "plum crazy" to buy an "ET Arms Plum Crazy"? :D

I've seen Plum Crazy lowers in person. They're cancer. Stay away.

If an AR could have AIDS, this would be the one.

Can get an Andro Corps for $8 more with the right sale.

There's never been an acceptable plastic receiver AR.

I saw a guy blow up his PCC last night with a double charged hand-load. Can you imagine if it were plastic, he had a minor scratch and was shook up a bit but with plastic gun---damn.

Cheapest I’d go would be a M&P Sport on Black Friday.

Those suck balls. Pappabears son's friend bought one. I repaired a bunch of crap on that thing. I'm talking at least two broken parts that shut the gun down... not small annoying things at all.

Just out of curiosity, what items broke?

Not 100% positive. But I remember the rail was sideways and falling off. And something effed up on the BCG. Don’t think the key was staked. I remember pulling my parts bag out and using a lot of shit.

You can spot them because the barrel is shiny black and not m4 contoured and something was missing off the lower.

Andro from PSA for $399 for me. When they do that sale it's, IMO, the best deal on a US made AR.

Just ordered another one a few days ago.

I still don't know how the IWI Zion isn't mentioned more often, it's a really great gun especially for the money.

I already posted this in the Deals thread but it also fits here. I think JSE had a decent reputation once though I don't see them mentioned these days. $289 for a complete upper with BCG & charging handle.
