I was wondering if there are any AR15 uppers that have cant built in or are they all 0 MOA

Thanks,
Scott

I’ve never seen one with it. Mounts are the standard solution for adding elevation, and most of the good ones have numerous options.

None that I know of. But why?

It’s not a bolt action that you generally use separate rings to attach a scope. To get the correct height and eye relief on an AR you use a one piece AR specific scope mount, and they are readily available with cant.

LA Rue mad the OBR, but think they may have recently stopped production on it.
Basically the receiver and hand guard were set up to work as a continuous top rail that had a downward cant.

Found a pic for reference, not mine.

I’m not looking for an upper with cant. A friend asked and he didn’t readily accept my answer that AR uppers are 0 MOA are not available and the reason the bullet rises from his muzzle is because the scope mount has cant. I figured I’d ask here to double check

Thanks,
Scott

The reason the bullet "rises" after it leaves the barrel is because the optic's centerline is higher than the centerline of the barrel, and it must rise in order to intersect with the set zero.

Grizzman,
We didn’t consider that, and thank you for pointing it out.
