This will no doubt be added to the data the left is using to promote elimination of the possession of privately owned defensive firearms. Gang violence needs to be separated from genuine mass shooting incidents, such as school shootings, workplace shootings, church shootings, etc.

I grew up near there and drove a squad car for over 20 years nearby. It's terrible to see what has become of the Chicago suburbs ( not to mention the city itself). Car jackings, shootings are a regular occurrence. Those crimes were very rare just a few years ago.

Illinois is about to eliminate cash bond. There will be a near complete catch and release policy within the judicial system. I can honestly say that cops are more afraid of the prosecutors than the criminals.

Things are going to get a lot worse in Illinois before they get better.

Also....the taxes here suck and our commie governor wants to take our guns.

Most of the crazy stuff that happens doesn't make the news. Most people have no idea how bad it is. The same could probably be said about most urban areas in our country.

I thought a massshooting was 3 or more killed? Granted, a lot got shot, but makes me wonder if it was a 22lr or a shotgun? That’s a lot of hits for 1 killed…
