Dang I miss good television. I could not even tell you what is on prime today as I cut cable out of my life in 1998.

Ha, those are the two I thought of before I even opened the thread.
Did you see the sunrise? was the "red meat" of 80s tv. Honorable mention to the guy blowing up Crockett's Ferrari to prove the missiles work.

Should have been Negan using Lucile on Glen and Henry Blake getting killed in the comedy series MASH

Zombie soap opera and pseudo hippie fest about Vietnam but set in Korea?

I thought of the Air Tonight scene when I saw the subject too. Totally agree with Sunrise pick also.
I still enjoy Magnum episodes, but don't find all Miami Vice episodes as entertaining as I did as a kid.

I need to bust out my Miami Vice DVD set again!

When Ellen came out as gay on her sitcom show, and the "What does the fox say" scene on Glee...

Thought you might enjoy this.
I couldn't agree more.
I have played the Phil Collins song more times than I can count getting ready to do a hit.
Along with this song.

I still watch it because it was filmed in my backyard so I can usually recognize a half dozen locations in each episode. But yeah, around Season 3 it took an odd turn and by Season 5 it was definitely WTF most of the time. When they killed Zito in season 3 the show became less fun. The "missing hours" episode with James Brown, Aliens and Peanut Butter was just bizarre and unwatchable, which is sad because it's the best Trudy has ever looked in various spandex dresses.
But Miami Vice basically had the came problem as others shows like CHiPs, once you explore all the credible story lines around a given specialization in law enforcement, you either have to repeat yourself or begin to fabricate new plots that typically prove unlikely.
The amount of stars who were on Miami Vice is astounding. Even Kramer from Seinfeld was in an episode.

Peter Gabriel made some great music. His song “Biko” will be, for me, inextricably tied to the Miami Vice episode “Evan” (one of my favorites).

That was a tear jerker scene for sure. On the flip side, this scene between Archie Bunker and Sammy Davis Jr. is comedy gold.
