I think BCM tends to do quiet releases of most products. Here are some of the new things they have dropped on the market in the last month(ish).

I like the stock kits! The mounts are cool, but I'm still using 30mm aimpoints.

I'm curious as to how the BCM A/T mount differs than some of the others in application of fit and security to the 1913 interface. If it is applying twice the force, that is a good thing, especially as it means there is no need to cam a groove into anything just to prevent mount slide. I'm also curious if the mount wars are going to start all over again. If BCM starts dropping scope mounts next, there is going to be even more interest in the overall category of BCM A/T mounts. The usual suspects will be paying people to trash talk BCM and make things up.

Back to the mount wars.... I'm hoping that BCM makes up a series of 30mm mounts. I'm still a fan of the legacy series Aimpoints, and I include the PRO in there as well.

THE ANGLED TORQUE™ LOCK-UP
A/T (Angled Torque) mounts employ angled torque through a patented* clamp which applies triangulating force to create a stronger and more reliable lock up of the mount onto the end user’s rail. To retain the hardware in field conditions, this system uses a serrated locking spring-washer to prevent the loss of torque on the shaft nut.

With an equivalent load applied, the A/T Mount delivers approximately twice the clamping force at the picatinny rail, versus a legacy horizontal interface.

That new stock looks very interesting, and the price isn't bad either. I would love to see one in person.

That MRO mount has me rethinking my decision to sell my MROs and go Aimpoint Duty now on two of my rifles. I do hope they come up with a 30 mm mount too. I like the ADM on my PRO but the designs that BCM is coming out with are certainly enticing.

I've been playing around with a prototype for a long time, and more recently with the production model (not much change), and I really like them. If price were no object, I would probably replace most of my stocks with the Mod 2. Then again, I'm a sucker for new toys....

The angled torque concept makes a lot of sense.

the new Mod 2 stock looks really interesting. I usually don't like the BCM stocks compared to magpul ones, but this actually looks really nice.

The problem is there's no good 30mm RDS options. I have a nice SCALAR mount and nothing to put in it.

The mounts look cool, with natural enhancement. However, does anyone have mounts coming loose at “50%” clamping force currently? I’m a sucker for BCM, but if it weighs the same as everything that isn’t Reptilia or Scalarworks and also costs more than everything that isn’t Scalarworks, I’m going to pass. Hard. And I think it’s been like 4-5 years or more since we’ve been getting teased about a BCM Micro mount…I haven’t been waiting for a while now.

The charging handles look good. I might pick one up for the heck of it to go with my last BCM upper (sold my first AR upper last week, a BCM that has never failed but someone else will use more).

The stock’s ability to add/remove the buttpad is kinda cool. If it is stronger than the other BCM stocks, has a good cheekweld, and won’t grab my beard, I’d have no problem replacing my B5 Bravos.

It looks to me like this stock would allow you to orient the sling so it comes off the back of the stock instead of the bottom. Is that correct?

1.93" T2/T1 mount weight?

These are looking really solid. I've had excellent experience with my Scalar LEAP (current gen) 1.93" and Reptilia (current gen) 1.93", but would love to see another robust option that isn't 6oz or something silly like that.

My PRO disagrees. But that is a specific application. In general I agree. Though I did put a 3x magnifier in my SCALAR mount. Finally broke the hinges last week. They were pretty quick to send me a new one with the new design. Which I like.

My PRO disagrees.

I had the PRO. My problem with it is that it's a $250 value at over $400 actual price. Everything Aimpoint makes in my opinion is double the price that it should be for what you get. The old Comp C was their only good value item.

I may have to just take the PRO nut punch at this point.

Aim higher and take it up the old sphincter and go Comp M4.

My problem is I have a nice Scalar 30mm mount sitting in a box on the shelf. I thought of running a cheap primary arms, but if the mount costs more than the sight, it's irrational.

You could use it for a magnifier.

I would expect to see them pretty soon. However, I'll throw in the mandatory disclaimer that I don't speak for BCM in an official capacity.

BCM is sitting on the mk2 upper for whatever reason; release those stripped boys. Everything else is kinda blah, okay. I get it.

70674looks an awful lot like the YHM one.

IIRC, people were bitching about rail compatibility, then 2020 happened not too long after. Stickman probably has more insight.

Like this one just by first impressions a lot better than the others. Two reason why, it is longer and the QD cups are anti rotion, not just b/c of the stock like the old ones but b/c the steel on the inside is limited like the B5 stocks.

I ordered the MRO optic mount (lower 1/3) and the medium latch charging handle. Like the mounting system on the MRO mount. Feels extremely solid. I really like the ergonomics of the charging handle. It replaced a Radian and it may be my new favorite. Have not had a chance to do anything but static manipulation but I dig it. Will take it out this weekend to see how the gas busting part of it works.

I would say it's pretty awesome. I tested it on an 11.5 G barreled SBR with both a Polo and a Polo K. Had a standard Radian as well as a Radian SD to compare it against. As most know, the full size Polo is pretty gassy on shorter barrels. With the standard Radian it will fog you out. With the SD it was tolerable but still noticeable. The BCM reduced gas by enough over the SD that it was a noticeable difference. On the K can I got almost no gas to the face with the BCM. Little more with the SD. Little more with the standard Radian. With the lower back pressure of the K can it was already much less gassy than the full size to start with.

As far as ergonomics. I really like it. The medium size latches extend almost the exact same amount as the Radian, but are less beefy. Which isn't a bad thing. Going to order a large latch for the next one and run it on my LPVO equipped rifle.

I like it enough that I will be replacing all my Radians with BCMs. If anyone wants a deal on a used Radian hit me up lol.

Thanks for the follow-up. I have some gassy cans. I think between this charging handle and the BRT EZ tune gas tubes I'll get them tamed down.
