When did the checkout checklist start at BCM? Is this new or have I just not purchased something from BCM in a while?

Am I the only one who finds this annoying enough to buy my parts elsewhere?

There is at least one other terms and conditions check box later in the checkout process.

I purchased an upper from them a few months ago. I don't rememberer a checklist but it looks simply and quick enough to do that I might have forgotten

Nearly all the sites I scan for gun parts and deals require one to affirm they are over 18. I just assumed it was a new law or back end ATF mandate via senile Joe.

Lawyers and California...

This! I can just hear some scum sucking lawyer argue that a company just sent a BCG out without being certain the end user met a bunch of criteria??

There is a large lawsuit going on, and funded by the usual suspects against firearm manufacturers and accessory companies. You can expect to see changes in a few things.

Summing it up, the first poster nailed it. Its all about the lawyers.

I hadn't purchased anything for some time and recently made a few accessory purchases and was wondering about this as well. I figured, like other have said, some backdoor ATF / Lawyers nonsense as well. Wish my local GS's had better inventory / prices.

And probably just the beginning of not being able to buy ANY firearm, firearm accessory, ammunition or component thereof online ever again.
Get it while you can folks

Everybody bashes lawyers. I have a family member who is one of the good ones and several friends that are also good ones. Honestly people, it's just 95% or so of the lawyers that give the rest a bad name.

Considering the amount of lower receivers we’ve had to send back I think they need to add an over 21 section. [emoji2357]
