Anyone ever order anything from Rock River's website? I ordered six of the Okay mags during their March special (6 for $72 or 10 for $110), and shipping was listed as "TBD" all the way through checkout. In the end I was just billed $72, with no tax or shipping. Which seems a bit unusual, not that I'm complaining. Not a smokin' deal, of course, but better than some I've seen.

I ordered some parts from RRA 2 months ago, not much communication, no tracking # nothing, then 5 days later parts were in the mailbox. My only purchase from them. I was told this was normal.

$11 is actually pretty good for USGI mags.

I thought about this, until I saw I can get 3 gen Pmags for about 10 bucks a piece

Pmags are always cheaper, and I think they are great mags. But if you want USGIs, they cost a bit more and are usually in the $15-$18 range.

I bought a dozen straight 20-round mags with the same experience as the OP. They showed up a week later and work great.

I bought an A2 upper from them 2 years ago, no real shipping notification but the upper came in less than a week

Ordered the six-pack and received it today. Typical Okay dry film finish with the pre-scuffed appearance. These are in RRA packaging and are marked "NHMTG HARTFORD CT" with a date code of 9-12. Presumably these are Okay manufacture?

Is $11 per the cheapest we can reasonably expect to pay for aluminum mags these days?

Currently out of stock, but Rainier Arms has the South Korean 30 rounders for around $8.30 each in a 10-pack:

So my "dealer price" from Lipsey's (which is about as good as any wholesaler I use), for factory Colt 20 round aluminum mags is $23.18 and MSRP is $29.99. So if these are genuine "Okay" mags for $11 that is half the price I pay for Colts. You can generally expect to pay $25 for most USGI mags which is why I have been grabbing PMags almost exclusively for the last 15 years.

With the end of the sunset in 2004 I just ordered 100 (30) round mags and 50 (20) round mags and I think they were running about $15 each back then to have a supply of aluminum USGI mags because I thought they could get banned at any moment. When the Sandy Hook ban did not happen (especially the second one, late hour attempt by Harry Reid trying to catch us sleeping) I think I bought 500 Pmags because they were $9 each or something crazy. That combined with my other mags, USGI and Pmags puts me well over 1,000 AR mags for the 20+ rifles I have that use AR mags.

If NHMTG is (or was) an Okay product, they're probably GTG.

First.....My wallet hates you all! It's 300 bucks lighter.

Slater; I believe NHMTG and Okay are the same, if memory serves me correctly.

I went on a magazine frenzy a couple of years ago and started boxing them up in old beer cases.
They're sitting on top of my safe.
The prices have certainly went up.

Question for those that have ordered from the RRA site…….

Is it normal to have ZERO comms from them? I didn’t even get an email stating I created an account, let alone an order confirmation.

That's been my experience with them, although everything I ordered was shipped in a timely manner.

In their defense, I did call them. The CS lady I spoke too was super nice and said I would have an email within 24 hours with tracking, which I did.
