Former U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley is suspending her bid for the Republican presidential nomination, according to CBS News sources familiar with the matter.

Haley is to deliver remarks to the press Wednesday morning in Charleston, in her home state of South Carolina.

The news comes just hours after former President Donald Trump won commanding victories across nearly all the states holding Republican nominating contests on Super Tuesday, according to CBS News projections. Exit polls showed Trump leading Haley among broad segments of the GOP electorate, with voters saying immigration and the economy were their most important issues.

I could see her billionaire Dem donors buying her off to run as an independent. A big chunk of fraudulent votes diverted to her from Trump would mean less cheating needed on the Dem side. Shift blame for a Trump loss to “that rogue woman.”

The GOPe would solemnly insist it was an honest loss and return to corruption as usual.

I've been saying for over a year... IT'S TRUMP. Get over it. If he goes to prison, he will get written in. There is a NEW political party. It's MAGA. The GOP is going the way of the NRA.

Attention never Trumpers. You really only do have two choices. Get on the train, or support Romney running an "no labels" with ______. No labels with a GOP RINO will just GUARANTEE a win for Biden or whomever his replacement will be. Screwsome is the main suspect, but HRC is getting vocal again...

Cope and seethe. You have until November to get your emotions in check and save the country. You don't have to like it, but your choice is that, or four more years of what we have now. Even if they switch out Biden, the progressive socialists are running the DNC. It will be just a s bad.

IT'S ONE ISSUE AND ONE ISSUE ONLY... THE SCOTUS.

You are voting for the SCOTUS. Remember that. If we lose the SCOTUS at this point, it's all over. Stick a fork in it.

So, pro Trump?

Does it matter now? Trump WILL be the nominee, so yes. We don't have to like it. It's what it is. Look... Back in 2016, I was Ted Cruz all the way until he dropped out. Trump is who we have now. Take out the emotion, and he's done a darn good job. I can live with the mean tweets. I'll take him over any RINO like Romney or Haley. No, I don't care about Ukraine. CLOSE THE BORDER.

Remember the SCOTUS this fall. That's where it's going to get real if we lose.

It should've turned out great, but the Dems were BIG mad and did everything humanly possible to turn it into shit, at the expense of the entire country.

But at least it let us know who our enemies are and some of them have been pretending to be our friends for a long time.

At least it was genuinely him sending out tweets, and not some press secretary pretending to be him like every other president. Transparency at its finest, or worst. We're going to have to swallow a lot more than mean words, if we let the commies continue to run things.

If anyone needed somebody to manage their Twitter account, it was Trump. He's used to being "the boss" and he needs to be "the president." He could have gotten a lot more shit done if he wasn't polarizing the average idiot who thought posting on Twitter was the same as making it a law. He already had most of the Republican party trying to undermine him, he really needed the average american on both sides of the line.

It goes without saying that Hillary would have been a thousand times worse and honestly if he did nothing else but recuse us from a Hillary administration that probably was enough. But he could have done so much more if he didn't constantly feed his ego and instead think about how to accomplish a few meaningful things.

Not sure we even have any kind of disagreement.

It's right there in the statement you quoted.

"It goes without saying that Hillary would have been a thousand times worse and honestly if he did nothing else but rescue us from a Hillary administration that probably was enough."

Corrected typo: "recuse" should have been "rescue." But meaning would have been about the same.

Yep. Pretty much.

As for SCOTUS, eh, having it really hasn't done that much for us anyway. The Left openly ignore most of their pro-gun decisions, used the overturning of Roe to justify improbable mid-term wins, and can always pack the court whenever they feel like it. Even with the majority of the court being nominally conservative, they let Biden cheat in 2020, and are perfectly fine with Biden importing millions of new voters. If our rights and the Republic are dependent on SCOTUS, we're doomed, my dudes.

Lots of people 'could' be a republican president, but it first requires the smarts and skills to secure the nomination.

Since 2016 there's been a long list of accomplished folks who thought they had the smarts and skills required... but didn't. Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee, John Kasich, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Scott Walker, Rick Perry, Carly Fiorina, Bobby Jindal, Lindsey Graham, Rick Santorum, George Pataki, Jim Gilmore, Mike Bloomberg, Mike Pence, Nikki Haley, Asa Hutchinson, Vivk Ramaswamy, Doug Bergman, Tim Scott, Larry Elder, Perry Johnson and Ron DeSantis.

I'm voting for more of this 'idiocy'. https://trumpwhitehouse.archives.gov/trump-administration-accomplishments/

Giant Meteor
- Gets shit done on Day 1: Check
- Shuts people the **** up about it: Check
- Implements a permanent solution to end divisiveness in America: Check
- Solves the immigration crisis: Check
- Solves the drug and crime epidemic: Check
- Reduces man-made carbon emissions to zero: Check
- Treats everyone from all backgrounds equally: Check
- Reduces government spending and balances the budget: Check

And the list goes on...

Yellowstone Super Volcano is also a pretty viable candidate when you run the numbers.
