Currently their are two high end or (high dollar if you like to look at it that way) carbine stocks.
LMT SOPMOD and Magpul UBR. Being that I have both (just got the UBR from G&R!) I thought I would give a short and simple comparison.
The UBR is very well made and would have to say it is 'worth' more of what it cost. Their is allot more to the stock as far as parts and features.
The SOPMOD is ALOT! simpler and I really can't see why they cost what they do.
The SOPMOD is definitely lighter, the UBR has some heft.
As far as comfort the SOPMOD has a better cheek rest. But if you prefer the nose to charge handle hold, the UBR has the thumbs up. Your cheek ends up on the edge of the SOPMOD and RE.
They both lock up solid.
