Does anyone have opinions or experience with the complete Del-ton ar-15 rifles. either 20" or the carbine?

You get what you pay for - each component will vary slightly from the basic m4 formula (be it cheaper steel, processes, etc.).

As a go-to gun (with reliability in mind), probably not a good choice. For a weekend plinker, it's cheap fun.

Only experience that I've had with Del-Ton is the one where I ordered 4 PMAGS in early Nov. and I still haven't received them. Other than that, they're stellar!

I don't have a complete Del-ton rifle but I have one of their 'kits' (everything but the lower). Mine is a 16" M4 kit. I 'upgraded' to the CL bore but everything else I got was standard. It's pretty nice, especially for the money. It's no high dollar AR but it works.

The carrier came properly staked but the bolt came with the rifle (blue) insert and a pretty weak (looking) extractor spring. It functioned fine (for the first 100 or so rounds) but I swapped it out anyway.
