This new shooter orientation and qualification is mandatory for all new shooters with SFDCC. In other words, if you want to shoot the matches, you have to sit through this.
That's Tuesday, 31 March 2009, time to be determined but plan on it being at 18:00 at the Markham Park Target Range in western Broward County. See the TSSA homepage at www.tssaidpa.us for more information on SFDCC (http://tssaidpa.us/wordpress/?page_id=7) and/or directions to the range. Any adjustments to the time will be sent via email.
Please read through the orientation pages (http://tssaidpa.us/wordpress/?page_id=101) so that you know what to expect and you bring the right number of magazines, amount of ammo, properly load your magazines beforehand, etc. Be sure to arrive at the range with ALL FIREARMS SECURELY ENCASED. Slung rifles and holstered handguns are NOT allowed when arriving at the range.
Anyone who is interested should send an email to rob AT tacticalyellowvisor DOT net and be sure to add that address to your "safe" list so that my replies don't get lost in your junk mail. All further details will follow via email and NOT via the forum and the responsibility lies with you to ensure that you receive these emails. There will be an attendance cap, but I don't know what that cap will be yet. I'll let you know if you are over the cap.
