Just got my VCAS and I wanted to check something with you.
I once saw a thread here in which someone posted a picture of the "proper" distance the stock should be from your chin while the rifle in hanging in the sling. The person posting the pic wrote that your fist, when resting on top of the stock, should be right under your chin.
There does seem to be a sweet spot there somewhere. A little experimentation ought to do the trick.
I know that YMMV, just wanted to see what the court of public opinion thinks.
Nice sling. It really is adjustable on the fly. Should have gotten the padded one! Believe it or not, I didn't know there was one.
