View Full Version : bought a dpms lite

Didnt really need it but it was cheap enough and i hate to pass on any ar right now. Anyone have an opinoin on them. I see they dont have a forward assist but that means nothing to me. Ive ran a sp1 for years without one and honestly feel that no ar should have one. There just a good way to get yourself in trouble in my opinion. Figured for the price of this gun it would make for a good blaster to save wear and tear on the ohters.

I have a DPMS AP4 that I bought in October, and I have about 500rnds through it. I'm very happy so far, but I'm new to the AR world and don't have anything to compare it to.

some on here think of dpms as the anti Christ, but they aren't that bad.

All my other ars other then my beuwolf are colts but for half the price if the thing runs it will be a good investment for me.

some good info there. Ive owned ars for many years but basically dont know squat about them. Im more into handguns and never did much to my ars but shoot them. I guess im going to have to go back to school.
