Does anyone have any information about a Colt Commanding Officer?? I bought one this weekend at a gun show. It is a officer slide on a commander frame. It has Colt Commanding Officer on the slide. It stainless steel . I was told that it may have been made for Lew Horton or someone like that as a limited run for them to sell. I would like to know what year and how many were made. THANKS head of time if you can help. :confused:

I believe it was a Horton release. Call Colt and they can give you a date. My memory says it was sometime in the 90's.

Gun is reliable and accurate for 3.5 barrel length etc.

Trigger translated says "Death to Al Qaeda".
