Anyone owned an American Spirit Arms rear BUIS?

I received one of these in trade today, and only accepted it because I thought it was the GG&G MAD sight.

Upon closer inspection, it is in fact the American Spirit Arms version of the MAD, similar to the one Brownells is now selling under their own name.

Quality wise, it looks sturdy, but has anyone used one. Thoughts please.

What ever happened to this company? I understand they went under.

I bought one to try out, I think it is very cheaply built, and I am not overly impressed.

Yet, I will still wring it out.
