View Full Version : The less accurate M4 in the family
My sub 1 MOA M4 got the Trijicon TA01 for longer range plinking.
So what sighting systems (carry handle, BUIS) or optics (dot, cross hair) do you guys put on your less accurate M4s - say those with 2 or 3 MOA accuracy? I am asking with the only intended purpose for the M4 to be plinking.
I'm partial to the A2 or A3 carry handle irons. You can't really improve on the A2 field sight for general plinking.
Plain irons are good for plinking. A non-magnified red dot, like Aimpoint or EoTech, would be fine as well. 2-3 MOA ain't bad for plinking anyway. If I were just shooting paper I'd stick with the irons and keep my skills with them up. Plus they're a lot cheaper.

Yeah! They're FREE WITH THE GUN!!!

Dude...It's like the factory wheels on a used Camaro.... everybody knows that as soon as you buy it, you just take that junk that comes on it off and toss it. Why else would there be a market for so many replacements?
That's true of the handguards, Grips, and stocks anymore.
