So I was pondering what I could "store" in my tango down stubby vertical grip.... 2x CR123 batteries will not fit.... which is what my optics and lights both use.

does anyone know if a spare bolt head can fit in there ??

or conversly, what are you guys storing in there ?? tell us what you got in there :D

Are you sure 2 CR123's won't fit. I put two in mine yesterday without issue.

If you have a TD Stubby VFG and you're on M4Carbine.net I assume you have an AR; why not just take your Bolt out and see if it fits?

hmm,,, I put them in with + terminal facing both up... and it pushed in the bottom of the top battery... maybe try it so the negative sides are touching each other....

edited to add...
tried them negative to negative and still will not fit, like 2 threads short of screwing all the way in

reedit to add....
an ar15 bolt is longer then 2x cr123... so it will not even let grip cap screw on.

I could store a couple of condems in there though.... they fit :)

I found that only 1 will fit if you have to use the Magnums.

One of those mini bottles of Larue Machine Gunners Lube (AR's like oil even more than batteries ;)) plus a couple of large bore patches so the bottle doesn't rattle.
