I saw these on Troys website but havn't heard anything about them. Some new handguard that they are coming out with. Did anyone see these at SHOT?

So what i can tell from Troys site is that the standard model TRX has the 4 way rails and the extreme model only has a top rail and the ability to bolt on rails. Do you have any more info on these and when do you think you might get some?

Any idea on the weight of these? I'm looking to put an 11" rail on my Noveske N4 and one of these might just be the ticket if they aren't too heavy.

Yeah, I saw that site too and it's the only other info I found besides Troys site. They look to be pretty nice handguards so I am suprised that I havn't heard anyone talk about them.

Thanks for the link on those to Troy's site. It looks like they list the weight at 7oz. for all sizes of the TRX extreme, but I assume the 7oz. probably only applies to the 9" rail without any of the add on 1913 rail sections. That's still pretty light for a rail. I have a Danny Defense 9" rail on one of my Noveskes and it's pretty light at 9.7oz.

I may look into one of these in the future for an update to my fsb shave project. looks nice, it would be nice to see detailed photo's of the clamping assembly.

I talked to Troy about the 9' TRX Extreme for some upcoming 6.8 uppers I am building around my system and was told they are not out yet, will be couple weeks or so....................AD
