I have six well used old M16 mags that came with me from my time in the Corps. I guess I should replace the springs, at the least. Would you suggest replacing the followers too? Are there rebuild kits available? What springs are suggested? For followers I assume Magpul. Thanks.

The magpul "non-tilt" follower is a must.

It looks like Brownells (http://www.brownells.com/aspx/ns/store/ProductDetail.aspx?p=25018&title=AR-15/M16%20HIGH%20CAPACITY%20MAGAZINE%20REBUILD%20KIT%20&%20COMPONENTS) has what I need.

What they said. Springs, Magpul Followers & Ranger plates! They work great, even with older/used springs. :)

I came across this Magpul USGI rebuild kit (http://www.magpul.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=231). Whoa. As much as a new mag.
