Posting Pics ??

How do I post my pics? I can post the link from photobucket. Am I doing something wrong? Sorry but I am new to this stuff...lol
I would like to post the pics right on the threads instead of the link.

Hi Sandman.

When you start a thread, or a reply, look at the options above the main entry area. on my screen, there is only one icon that's in color, and that's the one you use to link pics.


open up two screens. one here and one where you have the pics.

easiest way is to go to the site where the pics are and bring up the pic. use your mouse to highlight the entire address location and once it's highlighted put your cursor back in the highlighted area, right click, and select "copy". now when you are back in the reply box, click on the colored icon, move the mouse cursor up that that newly openned box, right click, and select "paste". you just copied the address from the picture location, to the link here.

You need to know the url of the actual image file (.jpg, .gif, .png). If the link you have ends in .htm, .html, .psp, etc. it won't work. You need a link to the file, not the page it's on.

Then you just put that address between two tags:
and

So for example, (img)http://photobucket.com/gallery/JohnDoe/hello.jpg(/img)
but using brackets [ and ] instead of parentheses ( and ).
