I saw one on the cover of one of the gun mags this month, so I googled it and it looks very interesting. It's a DA/SA design that can be carried cocked & locked (like H&K V9). The SA trigger pull is supposed to be extremely short <5mm with a reset that is 1911 short. Reports that I've read say the SA trigger pull weight is around 4 lbs, and the DA is 8-10 lbs.
STI is importing it from Slovakia from a company called Grand Power, and then doing some minor modifications to them when they get to the US. Some of the torture testing and round count numbers that are claimed out there document 100,000+ rounds through it with no degradation in reliability or accuracy, as well as all kinds of glock style run the gun over with a car tests, for what little that's worth.
