I am pretty green, but I cannot see myself doing that! I wouldn't put a pistol that close to my face, much less a bleeding 12 gauge. :eek:

I did manage to give myself scope bite shooting a youth-stocked 7mm magnum with a short eye relief scope, but I'll never let that happen again. As they say the burned hand teaches best. It wasn't fun trying to explain that to my non-shooting friends. :p

I've done that. I was sighting the shot gun and had it too close to my face. I had a nice bruise on my chin for a few days and a nice jackass moment to bask in.

Fortunately there was no one there to witness it.
