I saw this in an ad for an M4 flat top upper:

"This is to be used with barrels that include the M4 barrel extension."

Pardon my ignorance, but what does this mean? :confused:

Thanks Mark5pt56! This was a great explanation. I cut/pasted that info including the pics, just to save it.

Now, if I can just find the rest of the pieces/parts, I will be getting started on a nice carbine...

Bravo Company is supposed to be putting out some complete uppers for sale later this week. Click on their email me when back in stock link, they won't last long.

Don't look out, just put your email on the "email me when back in stock" link. After you get the email, you have maybe 10-20 minutes to get one. In the last month or so, I've picked up 3 BCM middies, 1 with the low profile block and 12" Daniel Defense rail installed, and 1 LMT upper, from Bravo Company. Each time they sold out in around 15 minutes, so I'm guessing they're putting out maybe 50 at a time at most, but I don't know. And BCM manufactures their own uppers, they don't get them in.

Yeah I did that. I got the email on the LMT last week and should have pulled the trigger but didnt. Hopefully it will work out for me this week and I will get one of the BCM's.

I've seen reports that BCM's M4 cuts are pretty shallow. Anyone have any thoughts/comments on this?

Mine look deep enough to me.

And don't blame me, I got my info from a thread started on the 27th, and Paul from Bravo's post on TOS.
