View Full Version : Got A Call This Morning!!! LMT MRP 6.8!!! PICS Ammo Question?!?!

Got a call this am from the place that I do most of my business with and I am sure you can imagine the end result. :D

I ordered a LMT MRP .556 months ago and it came in the other day. I was like a kid on Christmas morning to say the least(I posted it the other day). So this morning I get a call from my guy and he says I just got in a Norinco MAK-90 milled AK :cool:in and I figured you would want it blah blah.... he then goes onto say he just got in another LMT MRP but in 6.8!!!!!!! :eek: Well you can guess the end result. Now I wont have to worry about swapping barrels and BCG on the .556 :D

These are incredible rifles and I am really looking forward to shooting the 6.8 round. My EBR collection is now complete!!!! (except for a .308)

Can anybody recommend a place for ammo and mags? I know that Hornady makes it but are there any others making it in quantity?

I see the mag is made by PRI in OH and I think Barrett makes a mag but not sure of any others. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Well its been a popular chair lately.;) I do also enjoy reading a book or two when time permits.

Thank you! I have been on their site. It looks like it is them and Hornady for ammo options. Looks pretty consistently priced around a buck a round. Have you shot both SS and Hornady TAP?

When you get there, look up PauloSantos. He just got a new 6.8 setup for his LMT MRP CQB. He will also be able to ream out your chamber to Spec II to allow your rifle to shoot the hotter loads safely.;)

Does it need to be 1/11 or 1/12?
