How far over would you have to hold to make the hit with a 45?

I have never tried anything beyond 100 yards with a handgun but I would think you would need gobs of holdover to make it happen.

I've shot my Glock 19 out to 350 with 147 grain ball, and the hold over was very inconsistent. The ammo wasn't very good to begin with, but I'm pretty sure it's all Kentucky windage at that point. IIRC, I was holding about 10 feet over the plate, but I'm not positive.
