I have two Eagle cases, rifle and carbine lengths.

They are very well made and made in the US.

Using and recommending Eagle discreet cases.

I like my i-Shot SERT Case quite a bit. It's help up very well despite living in my car's trunk (until I replaced it with a more Discrete case: a Pink WIlson Tennis Racket Case :p).

ADDED: I still use this case fo my otehr SBR (the house gun).

Know where to get any color other than black?

If price is no object, Larue has a pretty cool Storm soft/hard case combo.

Triad Tactical, Larue, SKD, and Eagle direct would be places to look.

I'm either going with this one or the Eagle discreet one:

I just ordered one of these. I like the shape and the external capabilities. Plus you can order the slick mini sneaky bag for the pocket on the bottom and this can serve as a small BOB with 4 mags and a side arm with mags and med/survival gear. All this in a nice ultra discrete setup that makes a nice SHTF system.
I have not received but the veritable USMC (Jeff?) has posted wonderful reviews and he is a standup solid guy as far as I can tell and has praised this product. I am very excited to add this to my new rifle I am about to take delivery on.

The link did not come through so I am not sure which case you are talking about. Would you mind giving me the exact name of this case?

Thanks!

One of the rifles I am going to put in the case is the LMT MRP. With the options to change out barrels on this gun, what size case would you suggest?

I use a UTG Covert soft rifle/pistol case.

It holds two rifles, a pistol, six AR mags, and many pistol mags. With only one rifle in it, I use the velcro straps for the second rifle to hold a bipod and more AR mags or lights.

I bought mine from a dealer for a little over $50, but I've seen them for half that on eBay stores.

I own a couple of the Eagle cases. They suit my needs just fine and seem to be built well. I picked them up from a dealer at the Indy gun show a couple of years ago for $50 ea.

Viscon,
Sorry about that. Yes, it is called the Sneaky bag and that is the brand name, Sneaky.
There is a great review over on 1911 forums.com in the long arm section on page two I believe. Check it out. This set up with the modular Mini Sneaky bag was over $200, but I was convinced it will make a nice system for travel with most of what I will need for the M4 system and basic SHTF scenario.

Eagle is one of the best I have seen and used. The OD and Coyote colors are truly beautiful and the workmanship is top notch...

The Sneaky bag looks well thought out, with infinite potential. I can't wait to put one to some serious work.

No problem. I was recently torn too between the Eagle. While I think you can't loose with anything Eagle, I think the Sneaky is really cool as it is a little more discrete and I just love having the ability to put the mini sneaky bag in the pocket for a really viable system to go most anywhere with me in my auto.
Good luck and let us know what you decide.

I too have been looking at the Voodoo Tactical Molle bag. How do you feel about the padding inside? Does it hold your rifle in pretty tight? What size did you get 36, or 42? I think I would need a 42". Thanks,

Mike

I actually got the 46 inch, just in case I want a longer rifle in the future, but the 42 inch would have been fine. I have a aimpoint t1 and vertical grip attached and it fits perfectly top to bottom, even with a mag in the well. The padding is more than adequate especially with the attached pockets on the outside and heavier nylon outer. The rifle cinches down with two velcro straps on each end. (even with the 46" the rifle is secured) also there is a "corner" cutout pocket on each inside end that you can slip the barrel and buttstock for added security. I was impressed with the construction especially for the price. Any other ?'s let me know

I'm a big fan of my Tactical Tailor case. Eagle is also a great choice, the TT case was a bit cheaper so I went with it. Can't go wrong with either in my opinion. Both are made exceptionally well.

So I ordered a tan one.

I went with the Voodoo Tactical 36". The fit with stock fully extended makes it more secure with the ends in the corner pockets. I picked mine up on FleaBay and am very happy with the company and product. Their are other copies out there for a small savings but the quality is first class and will really take a beating in the field.

That's the method I use, but I acquired the components separately. It works well. Get good locks for the case.

Yes it is. But it will hold 2 or more rifles (depending on how they are configured) and has the hard case that the soft case fits into. I saw something very similar to this on the magpul DVD recently and it just makes sense to me. One time buy for all my needs. There is a video in the link I posted that shows much more about the features of the case.

Received my "Storm" Soft/Hard case today from Laure. It is very nice. The hard case also comes with foam for customizing or you can take it out and put the soft case in it. It was not cheap, but it is seems to be built incredibly well. The tan soft case inside the black hard case looks very cool. I should be set now?

Just an FYI on the 32" Tactical Tailor CCC it's a tight squeeze on a 16.1" barrel with a vortex on it :o It zips up fine but the vortex pokes out a little. Very nice case IMO

Anybody know if the Magpul ACS is going to be the same length closed as the CTR? I don't want to change my stock down the line and not have the case fit.
