anyone have pics of a od green a2 stock or sully stock mounted to a rifle? also anyone know the length of pull on the a2? or the sully? i'm torn between what stock to get, i can only have a fixed stock in my state. i'd like somthing a tad shorter than the a2 but longer than a entry. how about an ace entry skeleton with the 1" recoil pad? unsure:confused:

Standard Sully stock is 8" long, with added spacer it becomes 9". This is still a bit shorter than an A1.

Another way to look at it, the entry stock would be the same as a telescoping stock closed, the standard Sully would be equal to the first notch position, and the added spacer equates to the second notch position.

Where do you get the spacer? I could use the extra inch.

I'm a ban state guy too.

I've put Colt A1 stocks on my Colts...and an Ace Skeleton stock on my BM.

A1s are pretty cool....if you're looking for a shorter LOP.

Knights Armament has a 1 inch spacer with a sling mount.

Quantico is having a sale on A1 style stocks. Just ordered a couple of these myself.

I used the Sully when I lived in the Peoples Socialist Republik of New York and liked it. The only downside is weight - because it's solid, it's a heavy! The A1 is a slightly longer but much lighter alternative.

Sully (www.defensive-edge.net) sells them. If you can't find it on his website, just give him a call. And just so you know, the spacer is on the buttstock end, not the wrist. If you want to add a receiver end-plate mounted sling mount, Daniel Defense sells a burnsed loop mount that's sandwiches between the receiver and the stock's wrist, and Tango Down sells a wrap-around style mount that wraps around the wrist and secures with screws. Otherwise sling mounting is like a standard A2.

Thanks for the info. I bought one of his rifles with that stock for something different. And have ordered the DD loop. I hope it's the A-2 that fits it as that's what I ordered.
