If you give the fed the power then the States lose their power. I don't like it especially with Obama and Rahm Emanuel in charge. It would be to arbitrary of a list on who gets to carry and who doesn't. Rahm wanted people on the No Fly List to not be able to buy guns. The bad part about this is that infants who had similar names to terrorists were on that list too. Here is a video and article for you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJBZZKlvrP4 , http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2005/08/16/no_fly_list_grounds_some_unusual_young_suspects/

Agreed, allow them the power to give the right, and you give them the power to take the right. I'd rather them having to dig us out, one tick at a time.

As much as I would like it. You still can not take away the state's right to govern themselves, whether or not that policy is something you do not agree with.

This has been introduced every session for over a decade and hasn't gone anywhere.

Enforce the "full faith and credit" clause. Reciprocity done.
