I'm helping a troop of Boy Scouts to get their Marksmanship Badges on Saturday.
They'll learn on .22 lr's.....but after they get that out of the way.....
They'll get a class on both the AK system and the AR system...... :D
Everyone should get some trigger time on both systems.
The last time I did this, they also got some M1 Garand training too.
I swear, I've never seen bigger smiles on faces than when you hand an AK to a 11 year old kid and show him how to operate it and then give him the responsibility to load the mag into the rifle and charge it himself.
"Wolverines!"
