Build or buy .223 ADVICE???

I would like to build or buy a sniper type rifle utilizing the .223. I have considered the Remington 700 VTR. Can I get some advice on the subject? I would like to keep the cost to the lower end of the spectrum.

You could look around for a Winchester Stealth. They come with an HS Precision stock, short action, heavy 26 inch 1/9 twist barrel, and they are very accurate...one of the best factory varmint rifles.

I bought my Remington 700 SPS tactical .223 for $499 about two months ago. There are good deals for .223 bolt guns, you just have to find them.
