Do you guys plan on offering the omega x rails as seen on your DD M4's as a stand alone item? Preferable in the 7.0 model ;)

Sorry dude. Yes we will be offering the Omega X Rail as an individual item in the future. I know the 12.0 FSP model will be available, but at this time we are unsure of what other lengths we plan to offer. We will keep everybody posted.
Joe, please think about a 9.5 FSP. Thanks!

An Omega X 10.0 or 11.0 would be really nice.

I've got a Lite Rail 12FSP on a a carbine and it is rock solid. Only complaint is that if one wishes to wipe off and oil the barrel exterior, the FSB needs to be removed to remove the Lite Rail. For my next project, I'm looking at the Omega-X FSP. My question is whether the mounting is as solid as the Lite Rail. With the Lite Rail, it is extremely difficult to flex the front of the rail in relationship to the barrel.
Does the Omega-X offer the same rigidity?
What is the difference between the Omega Rail and the Omega X for the mechanically disinclined?

The Omega Rail uses the rifle's existing barrel nut for installation. The Omega X uses a proprietary barrel nut (same as used for the Lite Rail) that requires removal of the FSB.

so the lite barrel nut and the omega X barrel nut are interchangeable correct?
An Omega X 10.0 or 11.0 would be really nice.
Ditto the 11"--we need more 11" rails.

I actually have a build on hold waiting for them to release a 10.0 omega X.:D
Sorry for the dumb question, but can I send the upper to DD to have the Omega X rail installed? Any extra cost for the installation? thanks

Probably not. The only rail systems that we are going to continue make in FDE will be the RIS IIs.
Just received a BCM midlength upper with the Omega X 9.0 installed...very impressed. Nice job DD.

Any word on Omega X 10.0 or Omega X 12.0 Rails?
I love the Omega X 12.0FSP, but am building a rifle with low pro gas block.
I really like the size and makeup of the Omega X.
