I'm looking for a very stiff (5" 1911 + mags) belt for carry that is natural leather colored, i.e. very light and will darken over time. In stock is a plus. Price is negotiable. Does anyone have any leads? All of my usual suspects are either booked for months or don't offer what I'm after. Thanks.

A very stiff leather belt, eh? I recommend Rafter S belts; the quality is high and the price is right. I'm not sure about the in-stock part, though. I've waited as little as a few weeks and as long a three months for their products in the past.

I have been by here recently to pick up a belt and holster combo. They had plenty in stock and they were very helpful.

I would look at Tucker personally. Rob is a good guy, his holsters are very good too.

I'll also recommend Rafter S Gunleather. I own a couple of their belts and they are well made, and the folks are pleasant to do business with.
