My taste in music is a wide spectrum, from Extreme heavy metal to deep blues. From; Robin Trower to Sublime to POD to 311 to Black label society to lamb of god and Job for a cowboy. I can appreciate alot of music and facets of it.

Anyways... Enough about me that no one cares about.
A buddy sent me this, Check it out... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqSDFa8a7xQ

Thats pretty bad ass this guy has some serious talent. This stuff is right up my alley

Its funny I am "wound very tight" as others tell me but I love laid back music more than any other, I listen to a lot of so called "hippie music" like O.A.R, Jack Johnson, Dave Mathews, John Mayer Trio (Before you react, its very different than that chick rock crap) and a lot of acoustic stuff.

I to enjoy Dave Matthews, I like his slower stuff and even some of his jazzy faster stuff.
I have two little girls and they love the move "Winn-Dixie". Dave Matthews plays kind of a social defective, he tends a pet shop for a friend. Anyway, he plays a song in that movie and I love it...

Im more a fan of his jazzy stuff, but to me nothing beats O.A.R.'s live stuff! I have seen them in concert about seven time and each time has been better than the last. Their Live at MSG cd is amazing! Althuohg the newer stuff isnt any where as good as the older stuff.

I've seen the bald headed guy before, thats some great music, He is a gifted song writer and musician.
I havent seen the dredlock guy though, intricate picking is tough on a 12 string, he makes it look easy. I guess I always thought 12's were for carrying a rythum, just strummin'.

Yeah, no joke... It reminds me of those guys who "beat box" and play the harmonica simultaneously.

That guys pretty damn good. Soloing on an acoustic is tough for me, they just dont play like an electric.

Stevie ray vaughan's version of "little wing" is one of my favorite songs of all time.

I love watching a musician when he/she is in the zone. I finally got my new Cage Corsa (http://www.audiocage.com/) guitar amp after waiting for the 12 weeks it takes to have one built. I must say it was worth every second. What an amazing tone. And the construction is like a work of art. Simple in design and that really is the beauty of this unique amp.

Owning a boutique guitar amp after playing all these year seems right. I have a customized Telecaster and effects board. Why not a hand wired amp?

I write this because while I was waiting for my Corsa (http://www.audiocage.com/) I got involved in a new project of building a custom AR-15. I've been a mini-14 fan for almost 10 years until a few weeks ago when I stood side by side with two guys who had ARs. I was so impressed with the way the rifle performed that I decided to get rid of my mini and start on this new venture in the world of ARs.

I have learned so much in the past few weeks. And like many of you on the web site am looking forward to completing my rifle, to post a photo or two to show off my efforts. But more importantly, to go out and enjoy shooting a finally crafted weapon at unsuspecting milk jugs, tin cans and water melons. :)

If you want to be really impressed, Tommy Emmanuel is one of the best I've ever seen on an acoustic.
