View Full Version : LPK's Good-to-go?
Stag? B-master? Other? Is Colt just prohibitvely expensive? Never see it mentioned as a possibility.
I've had good luck with Stag/CMT.
Specialized Armament is the only place I know of that sells Colt lpk's. They're $175ish, if I remember correctly. I put a CMT/Stag kit in my (CMMG) lower and haven't had any issues.
Who makes the LPK's for M&A?
Colt's definately the gold standard, with the price to match.
I've used CMT/Stag and RRA with no issues. These were before Grant @ G&R was offering his own kits and LMT kits before that.
Availability seems to obviously be an issue with pretty much all uppers, lowers, kits, etc. right now. So if you find a RRA, Bushy, CMT at a price you can live with I wouldn't pass it up.

LPk's for RRA, LMT, etc all come from contract manufacturers and can vary each month. Buy a kit, inspect it for the fit and finish of that run, and go...
Any thoughts on Midwest Industries'?
Hear good things about CMT/Stag...also you may want to check J & T Distributing.

G&R LPK as well
Have these even been in stock the past few months? I requested to be on the notification list quite awhile ago and never heard a thing.

Grant said in another thread that he is still waiting on a few more parts to complete the kit.
The only LPK that I've heard bashed online is DPMS and even then, it was a one-time thing.

I just installed four Stag/CMT lower parts kits into Tactical Innovations lowers over the weekend. Both the parts kits and the lowers appear to be top-quality.
Colt and LMT are the two best I have seen. The problem is that both are rare and hard to find.
