There are two fake MBUS that are out on the market, and are airsoft knockoffs. I would wait a short time longer and know I was getting the real thing.

I wasn't going to try to bid on them, as I only want a rear. It just surprised me that they were on eBay.

They have been on E-Bay for months now. When I first heard everyone talking about the MBUS I went on there and did a search and they popped up, like so much other stuff that has been copied. Dont you just love the Chinese and their patent laws (or lack there of) :rolleyes: .

Its possible, but that would also make them a different material than the real ones. To be honest, I'm not sure if they are or aren't.

That is the correct MBUS package, so I believe they are real. That said, if they're fake, I'm going to rattle some heads tomorrow to find our Chinese spy...

The PTS MBUS's have the PTS symbol on the from of the MBUS so no, those are not the official airsoft replicas.

They also dont appear to be the fake pieces of shit that other airsoft websites are peddling since they lack the faux horribly replicated Magpul logo.

I would say they're real which is pretty interesting considering these arent supposed to be out yet.

Its possible they are real....Ive handled a rear MBUS already...quite nice.

That said, authentic packaging doesnt make it real...a guy on AR15.com bought a knockoff Aimpoint T1 Micro...came with Aimpoint box and instruction manuals!

We had a spirited conversation last night, and I have my doubts that they are real.

there's a thread on calguns where several members who took the magpul dynamics class said there were mbus available for sale.

Hey Grant U don't happen to have any kinda time-line for these MBUS's that perhaps Magpul sent u and not all the rest of us "joes". Im now seeing how being in the industry has is perks, however for me i'm not sure if i could ever do enough business to just break even with all the impulse buys id do if i was in your seat!
