Are the Beretta factory 20rd mags reliable? Is there a type that is more preferable over the other? I've seen some that had a plastic sleeve at the bottom - are these better?

Thanks.

I never had a problem with any of the ones I used, and I used them quite a bit.

Is there any drawback to the 20rd mags with the plastic spacer? Are they worth the extra $5?

Thanks.

I owned some years ago when carrying a 92. They worked well. I don't know anything about the plastic spacers on Berettas, but I know I don't care for similar configurations on Glock mags.

Like always, use OEM mags only for important tasks.

I've used those, and the similar Mec Gar 20 round mags for S&W 9mms. Very reliable magazines.
