For those LE and Military in CA. Kern County hosts Bill Jeans, Morrigan Consulting, approximately three to four times per year to teach CA POST Certified Instructor courses. These classes are an awesome price for the value.

Bill is a quiet professional, although Pat Rogers calls Bill his "evil twin." Bill was a Marine Infantryman at Khe San with 1/9 when they earned the nickname the "Walking Dead." He served with Clovis, CA PD for over 20 years with many of them on their SWAT team. Upon retiring he worked for LtCol Jeff Cooper at Gunsite as the Operations Manager and served with Yavapai County Sheriff Department SWAT team.

I have trained with Pat Rogers, Larry Vickers, Kyle Lamb, Jeff Gonzales, and Travis Haley/Chris Costa. Bill Jeans definitely stands shoulder to shoulder with them. I can not recommend these classes enough.

Yeah, maybe the next Morrigan Handgun Instructor.

I'll try to get an AAR of the Shotgun Instructor course up soon. Had one typed up on my old Iraq laptop and then it decided to finally die. Short synopsis; course was awesome, great instructor, other students were great guys, learned some new tricks, and changed my mind about the shotgun in some roles.

My only complaint is that the town of Bakersfield is the WORST town for partying I've ever been to. I managed to find some *ahem* hospitality on my last night there but the bars that were actually OPEN during the week had few targets of opportunity.
