I heard a far crazier story than that...but they are making shotguns and they seem to be on par with Vang's but are cheaper. I was hoping for someone with some first hand experience.

They are the same thing as a Wilson, the website is a copy of wilson. Oh ya get a Vang Comp shotgun, more than half of the parts on both are Vang's parts.

Wilsons that have come thought the shop where all bases on 870P shotguns. I would assume for the price they would be.

I thought Nighthawk was started by former Wilson Combat gunsmiths that were unhappy with Bill's decision to build non-1911 firearms. Now Nighthawk is building shotguns??? :rolleyes:

Wilson was making non-1911 firearms for at least five years before the Nighthawk split.

Both guns are way overpriced for reworked Remingtons.

The Wilsons that I have seen where stamped 870 police and had the non-synth tigger guard. They might being using Express models now. But either way buy and express and send in to Vang, or order an 870P from vang with all the toys you want.

870P's or 870 Express models? I thought Bill uses the Express for his base gun.

My Wilson Border Patrol 870 is built on an Express.
